Garry Winogrand, one of the greatest street photographers, set the stage for a whole new realm of public commentary via the camera. While strongly influenced by Winogrand and another great photographer, William Eggleston, I hope that I have found my own visual voice. These photographs attempt to provide some interesting conversation about the lives we live as observed by those of us interested in documenting our time, and the environment of which we are a part. I choose my subjects using the synchrony and serendipity of my daily excursions as the module of my artistic expression. One might find a combination of people, architecture, and situations common to us all, but made special by their segmentation and isolation within a moment.
